Jonnet Flea Market, Blairsville PA (Part 2)

The 12 year old in me just had to laugh at this...

I just thought this would make for a pretty cool photo.

Just chillin...

Why YES, I would LOVE to get some Russian books...I think they're love stories.

Better spend $10 bucks on this engraver so that NO ONE will steal my 5 cent pencil!

Again, the 12 year old in me giggled at this.

Oh hi, Lucy...what ya looking at?

It's hard to imagine that these were once state of the art cameras.

I think I may have had this phone at one point.

This snowglobe would make a perfect gift for grandma's collection!

OH HELL YEAH!!! Who else remembers these??

SPOILER ALERT:  They're not worth anything!

Ken needs some privacy.

I've come to the conclusion that knick knacks from the 50's are just straight up weird.

Dat face...

Ummmm...this can be taken in a dirty way...

Again, I don't know why someone would sell these...

Not sure if racist, or anti-Obama, or what...

Thanks, Obama!

MMMMMMMM...Tasty Lax!

Anyone want an opened box of tampons to go with their hair growth treatment?

I wanted to pick up this box and run away screaming 'I'M RICH!!!'

Oh yeah, call the chat line...then get grounded for months when your parents get the phone bill!

Your pun is bad, and you should feel bad.

Does Betty need help?  Or are we supposed to call Betty if we need help?

Nothing says class like an Astroturfed patio party!  Strictly for the swingers scene.

I have to admit, the rolls of nails were pretty...and I had to take a picture of them.

Stay classy, Blairsville!

Jonnet Flea Market, Blairsville PA (Part 1)

Anyone who's travelled Route 22 through Blairsville has passed this place.  You're not quite sure if it's open, or condemned, or what; but it looks the same on the inside as it does on the outside.

Regardless of what the building may look like, it's what's on the inside that counts...if you can successfully traverse the maze of shops inside.

Random assortment of bells...

Derpy baby doll is derpy.

Just what I've always wanted!  Crappy playing cards that look like a crappy cigarette pack!

These gloves were just too glamorous to pass up.

I still can't understand how people can just sell their family possessions (pictures, diplomas, etc.)

Draw me like one of your French girls...

This book is a great read for...HEY LOOK A FLOWER!

PROTIP:  there was no PORN section in this book.

Seems a little unethical to sell a Summit catalog that 1. you can get for free, and 2. is 3 years old.

GET YER FRESH OXEE-GEN HERE!!

I imagined this doll whistling catcalls at all of the shoppers as they passed.

Not sure if liquor, or poison.

One of two sides of the maze.

Okay, I can see how 'Hard Bodies', 'Beauty', and 'Drugs' play in, but what does that have to do with beets?

Throughout the visit, I had a few people ask me why I was taking so many pictures...one guy who asked me told me that these cans were 'interesting' and that I should take a picture of them...so here they are.

"The password is...nipple"

Norton is like the Overly Attached Girlfriend of the anti-virus world.

OH HELL YEAH!!! Finding a case like this is like finding a rare fossil!

We have many different wires for your strangling needs!!

A Day at the Duncansville Antiques Depot (part 2)

One table had a whole bowl full of TV tubes for sale.

Who would pass up classic tapes like these?!

I know the person just wanted to sell their old christmas light bulbs, but something about them being inside this jar makes them all the more beautiful.

The valley of the dolls was pretty creepy.  I felt like they were all staring at me.

Except for these two, they didn't seem to care who watched.

No caption needed.

Old used valentines...the morbid thought is that both the senders and the recipients are probably all dead by now.

As are the owners of these uniforms.

Your one stop shop for knives, clocks, and swords!!!

Oh, and fake launchers too.

Deputy Woody approves of this video.

These seem like the best way to add instant class to any trailer park decor!

Not surprisingly, all of the women were at the Avon table discussing nail polishes...

While all of the men were at the tool/government conspiracy tables discussing which country Obama is really from.

Poor Elmo, he lead a rich life...I'm glad we caught his viewing while we were there.

 Ummmmm...wat?

 Stay Classy, Duncansville!!
